Abby Johnson - Pro-Life Advocate

Abby Johnson IP#78 Abby Johnson unPlanned on Inside the PagesAn ordinary woman who has experienced extraordinary grace and wow, look what God has done!  Abby Johnson, author of “unPlanned: the dramatic true story of a former Planned Parenthood leader’s eye-opening journey across the life line”, a courageous woman who has brought forward not just the Planned Parenthood story (at times nightmarish in their behavior), but more importantly, her story…the journey of conversion, forgiveness, and witness.  She didn’t go looking for the spotlight, but she didn’t say “no” when it fell on her and now she is standing up for life and exposing the reality of Planned Parenthood and the beautiful options for life that are truly available.  She can truly say, with all integrity, that she knows both sides of the battle, and she is choosing life!  Be sure to get the “Catholic Edition” by Ignatius Press.

Atheism Debate - WLC vs. Peter Atkins

On Wednesday 26th October, 2011, Protestant apologist William Lane Craig debated Peter Atkins on the topic: Does God Exist? This debate took place at the University of Manchester  as part of the UK Reasonable Faith Tour with William Lane Craig.

Quite frankly, it's as good a fight as I've seen any atheist put up against WLC.

Video can be found on YouTube here. Craig's previous debate with Atkins can be found in the debate feed at Apologetics315 (Protestant site).

Argument of the Month Club

How great a name is that?!?

The Argument of the Month is a forum for Catholic Men to hear and discuss various apologetics topics. Well...I say apologetics, but it's not that narrow.  Take, for example, these talks on Social Justice by famed Chestertonian Dale Ahlquist:

Catholic Social Teaching: Why both Liberals AND Conservatives Get it Wrong!Dale Ahlquist02/12/2008Talk/DebateMP3Download

Or, to change gears, this talk about whether Catholics can be masons (answer: no!):

Naturally, they also have the standard mean-and-potatoes Sola Scriptura debates, Contra Modernism talks, etc.  Go check them out for yourself -- well worth it.
